Default Anyone replace a mirror shell, how hard is it?

The previous owner of my car smacked something pretty good with the passenger mirror, it works fine but the plastic is cracked and broken off in a couple places, look for a replacement. Anyone replace this piece?

I think I may get that and LED turn signal mirrors since the cap also needs to be repainted, may as well not have it be all for nothing. I am sure the cap is easy to replace, more so worried about the piece in the ebay link.

That is the main mirror housing piece. It's easy to replace along with the mirror cover (front facing part of mirror assembly). There are existing threads on how to disassemble it.
