I have a 2016 ES350. Somebody left their city trash can sticking out in our alley and I didn't see it in time and it hit my passenger side mirror. It knocked a hole in the shell so I ordered a replacement shell from a local dealer. How hard is it to replace? the parts guy said it has only four screws but is there a diagram showing how it fits together? Hate to pay the dealer $150 to do a 10 minute job if it can be done at home.

 

It's easy. I had to take apart the mirror to change the puddle lamps to LED. All you need to do is pull of the mirror (push mirror all the way inward and pull from opposite end), unscrew the 5 screws, wiggle off broken back cover, refit the new cover, screw back the 5 screws, and push the mirror back until you hear a few clicks.
