Each LS430 door window has a rubber seal that goes all the way around the opening, against the glass, to seal out wind noise. The rubber seal is part of the "window glass run" that is attached to the door with 5 rivets.
Can you remove the inner door panel and take some pictures on how and where the rubber seal turns down? There should not be a gap large enough for the rubber to turn down. Suggest you take a look at the other door and compare the width of the gaps. The window glass run may have been damaged and you may be able to bend it back in shape.
Worst case if you have to replace the window glass run, SewellParts.com lists them for around $150 USD.
Tks. for the advice. I bought a 9 oz.bottle of 3M Silicone lubricant (wet type) for cars and sprayed it on the plastic seal of the window frame. The window works up and down smoothly again like a miracle. I sprayed all 4 windows as a preventive measure and more than half of a bottle is still left. Tks. again.
I had exact same problem on my 01 ul. Bought shin etsu grease and put it on all 4 window wipers. From experience use very little, so that you don't have foggy, grease stained windows every time you roll them up
