Need some advise please, my wife closed the trunk lid, trapped is a strap from a bag, I can see it thru from the back seat looking in the through the access door.

I have tried to push the emergency handle down in the trunk, nothing, the key will not work, electric
release inop, the fuse is ok, since the filler caps works, any suggestions is appreciated.

 

Valet trunk lock could have been actuated.

 

maybe you can get something to pull on the bag,hopefully you can pull it out.

 

no i checked that, the strap is jammed in the trunk lid

 

i have tried that, the straps are loop type, so its caught both sides, and the bag is really heavy

 

how much force does the handle in the trunk need, i used a long handle to try, and force it down, it does move, but still wont release.

 

there was a thread before that was similar to your problem and i dont think he ever open the trunk.he took it to the dealer and they couldnt open it.i hope i am wrong but did you try to search?
i will try to find it.

 

guys thanks for all the help fixed it, put my 5 year old boy on the trunk, he bounced on it while it turned the key, it opened, I will put him in my tool box.
