Default Trunk issues.

So I learned the hard way the valet key doesn't manually open the trunk. I seem to be having a electrical problem because the remote start won't pop the trunk open, neither will the trunk switch inside the car or the switch on the trunk itself.

It's a long shot, but can you use something to reach through the cargo hole and hook the release handle? Being an electrical issue, I would check the fuse for the trunk release solenoid, which I believe is tied in with the door lock fuse. It could be a bad trunk release solenoid as well..

Hope you can open it up.

Also check to see if you did not disable the trunk lid opener.

Sooooo it was all my wife's fault. She threw a blanket in the back an she somehow managed to get it stuck on the latch. After pushing down on the trunk a few times it popped open. Mmmmmm i should not let her drive anymore lol

So your wife got junk in the trunk?

So does my dad, I had to rearrange the blanket so it wouldn't mess up anything but also allow it so the subwoofer wouldn't scratch anything and collect debris from stuff. Gotta keep that trunk carpet MINT.
