I have a 2005 LS 430. I also own a Samsung galaxy S3. Verizon and Samsung updated the operating system to jellybean 4.3 back in January. Since the update my Bluetooth works intermittently. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If so what have you done to fix it?

 

I have a 2004 ls430 with a similar issue. I had a htc hd desire phone and the bluetooth in the car worked flawlessly with the phone. Now I have upgraded to a samsung galaxy s4 phone and sadly the bluetooth in the car only works intermittently with it. Very disappointed! I think a lot of people are having similar issues and not just with lexus cars, other makes of cars as well. From what i've read on line, Samsung seem to blame car manufacturers and vice versa.
I'm hoping for some sort of fix too!

 

Me, too! I have a Galaxy S3 that works intermitantly on my 2004.
Was it a software update on our phones that caused the issue?

Yes. The latest update is causing lots of issues. I believe it's android 4.3 (jellybean)

 

I have a Note II and never had any issues with bluetooth until the 4.3 update. It's more of an issue with the phone than with the car.

sometimes it will delay a call if i connect to bluetooth or it won't answer and play sound through the speakers. Prior to 4.3 I never had any issues.

 

I have the same issue with my S3. It will connect and disconnect at random. The first call I get does not get picked up by blue tooth.

 

I have that happen too.

 

My old skool Blackberry Bold 9930 works perfectly with my old skool 2004 LS! Solution: get an old phone.
