Android bluetooth issues
I recently picked up my 2015 IS 350F and am trying to get everything set up. I have a few issues so far with bluetooth. I have an LG G3 phone running KitKat
It seems the phone disconnects every few minutes which kills the music stream. This happens about 90% of the time and happens via bluetooth steam using Spotify or using the enform app with Pandora. It also seems weird that the messaging doesn't load sms or emails. I have read before though that that could possible cause the issue. Also when using Spotify it doesn't send the track data to the car. Has anyone had this issue or know how I can solve?

I have a 2015 IS350F and an LG G3 running KK as well. Although I have never tried Pandora or Spotify streaming, I do stream music directly form my phone's SD card. No problems on that end. However, I am also trying to figure out how to get messages to load SMS as well...
Remove your phone from the cars memory, then delete all you're text messages and resync to your car. I did that and my sms worked. I haven't tried it with email. So I don't know if that will fix the emails.
Correct. That fixed my issue with texts. This is actually what a Toyota Service Bulletin says for various 2014/15 models. You can backup your texts with an app like SMS Backup & Restore.

I am still experiencing problems where the Bluetooth connection doesn't stay with my 2015 IS305 and Samsung Galaxy S4 (SGH-i337m) running Android 4.4.2. It disconnects frequently during drives, draining my phone battery by as much as 30% per hour.
The only thing different between cars is that I have gone from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 (Nexus 5). Perhaps the issue was OS related and it's been fixed? I do assume it was a BT hardware/firmware issue with the car though.
I know it's a process to get the latest, greatest Android revisions on the S4 but maybe it's worth a try. I know how damn annoying that issue was personally. Good luck!
