The batteries are cheap. Walmart sells a pack of two for about $7.00 Radioshack is always a rip off. They are easy to replace. Open the end of it where the hard key release it. It will come off allowing you to pull it out. Also, my dash did tell me my fob battery was low. Blew me away.
