NAV upgrade
Hello,
Does anybody know what is the LATEST version for upgrading navigation?
I want to do it in my 06 LS430 which has never been upgraded .
Can I get it from eBay (I saw some DVDs there) and do it myself?
Who else sells them?

For '04-'06. it's version 12.1 (2013). I ordered the upgrade DVD yesterday on eBay from Lexus of N. Miami for $149 (which includes shipping).

Dumb question warning -
I tried to navigate to instructions for the nav update on the Sewell site, but could not figure out how to get there.
I did find the part 86271 (which was described as the 2011 version and was discontinued), but just wanted to see the instructions for a 2005 LS430. Could you post the link?

You can go to the Lexus site, then My Lexus, and then find a long complete description (state by state) of the changes incorporated in the lastest DVD. Then you can make a decision as to whether or not those changes would be worth the cost to you. For instance, I intentionally waited until the bypass system in construction near which I live was finally completed and included in the upgraded disc. While waiting, by route showed me driving through nearby unconstructed area, but not on a street.
