Default amp compatibility

Any help is appreciated. Does anyone know if the pioneer amp is 100% compatible and 100% plug and play on a ml system in 2006 LS430?

I doubt it would work the marks levinson amp controls the nav unit and climate control while the pioneer does not they are completely different.

A ML for pioneer amp swap is a bad idea primarily because the ML amp runs different speakers with significantly different ohm ratings. I have a premium option LS and my pioneer amp stills sounds pretty good for 12 years old. If I did replace the audio HW I'd go with non OEM and get a head unit and amp designed in the current century.

Default intermittent amp

Before going too far with replacing this and that, go into the trunk on the passenger side, and take out the trunk covers. There you will see the ML amp. Take out the connectors and clean up the contacts. Use some dielectric grease on the contacts and replace the connectors back on the amp. Hopefully this will solve problems for you, and if so, that is the cheapest fix. I found some videos on youtube indicating how to do this.
