I have a 01 GS 300 w/Mark Levinson system. The amplifier is bad. Is there more than one system for these cars? I have found an amp on ebay, but the listing does not mention ML. The markings on the amp just say Toyota. Any help would be appreciated.

yes you need to make sure that its the proper amp for the gs there are 2 types of amps factory the pioneer which is standard and the Mark Levinson. i suggest asking the seller for the part number than calling lexus and find out what it is

 

Since we are on the subject...is there an upgrade for the factory pioneer amp? I've got some good speakers but unfortunately, the amps is not doing it.

 

Honestly i wouldnt go back to a ML amp if mines goes out ! im actually going to replace my ML amp with a good 4-ch amp with adjustable crossovers !
