Ipod integration question
I'm a new Lexus owner, and I love my Car but I have a stereo question.
I have a 2005 LS-430
When I bought that car I added Sirius Satellite radio with SSC1 tuner. When I installed it I asked about adding ipod integration and the installer said I would be unable to do so because there were no more opening in the back of the radio.
I have since found this item that said it can be added if the satellite radio is factory installed.

Although it is not factory installed I was hoping I would be able to ad this for my Ipod. Does anyone that know about stereo equipment know if this would work?
I appreciate any help I could get,
Thanks in advance.

I have added a VaisTech SL2s Sirius adapter with a Sirius SIR-PAN1 (not SSC1) tuner to my 04 LS430. I also have a VaisTech SL2i iPod adapter.
When I added the Sirius SL2s adapter, I thought I'd have to give up the SL2i iPod adapter I already had in the car, but Vaistech advised that the two units can be daisy-chained together. I did that and now have use of both ...
You may be able to do the same, but I don't know which brand Sirius adapter you have with your SSC1.
Note: Each adapter must be programmed individually. That is, first install & program the Sirius adapter setup. Then, unplug that setup. Now install & program the iPod adapter setup. Once each is programmed to work individually, the two can be just plugged together in daisy-chain fashion, and all should work fine. Of course, Im assuming both are VaisTech brand adapters. Other brands may work the same, though.
