I see that VAIS is a sponsor of CL, and some of you use their equipment. I have an Ipod but do not have satelite radio yet. If/when I decide to get satelite, I'm pretty sure I'll go with Sirius over XM.

On the VAIS Tech website they have an SLI unit (for Ipod integration plus auxillary support) and a SLS unit (for Sirius integration plus auxillary support). I believe both units cost the same ($299).

So here's my question, if I purchased the SLS, will it have the same Ipod integration features as the SLI or not? If not, what's different. Ipod integration is my first priority, but if the two devices cost the same why not purchase the SLS so I can upgrade to satelite radio down the road?

Also, how do you like your VAIS product? Is there anything else out there that's as good as or better?

Just got my '07 GS350 last month and added the VAIS iPod adapter and the Lexus XM Unit (in Shark Fin) last week. Both work great, but am very impressed with the VAIS unit. It works great especially if you do the Navi/DVD disable proceedure as you can then display all songs, lists, files, etc.

bigkahuna4 - So did you purchase the SLI or the SLX unit? Also, if you were like me and not planning on getting satelite now, which VAIS unit would you have gone with?
