Default XM and IPod?

So I've gotten two different answer from Vais Tech about this. Question is can I have both iPod and xm in my 2002 LS? First answer was yes, just daisy chain the interface boxes. Second answer was no, pick iPod or xm. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks all!

I have both Vaistech iPod and Vaistech Sirius adapters in my 04 LS. They are daisy-chained and both function. (I assume , maybe incorrectly, that XM would be the same.)

I have an iSimple Gateway device with a Sirius Satellite radio unit on it. It also has a pigtail on it for an iPod/iPhone or 3.5mm jack on it also. I didn't have to put an additional device on and it works from the Lexus radio buttons. Not sure why you need an additional unit unless this is a Vais Tech limitation. I picked up the iSimple Gateway and the satellite radio interface from SoundsGreatUSA through Amazon. You probably can call them or iSimple to get details if you want more information. It works great. Ended up costing around $250.
Good luck.
