Ipod Problems

I have a 2008 IS 250 with the Tech package. The Satellite message to subscribe is interfering with the IPod connection. I hear the Satellite message and music at the same time. Any help would greatly appreciate.

Did the installer of the ipod unit not mention to you that it's not compatible with satellite radio?

Both devices use the same input, so you can only have one or the other.

If you want to keep the satellite tuner hooked up you'll need to get rid of the Lexus ipod unit and get a different one that doesn't use the sat input.

Alternatively since the sat unit isn't available from Lexus anymore you could probably get a decent price selling that if you don't intend to use it.
