LS430 Most Miles?
2002 UL with 192,000. Took a 4,850 driving vacation and the car ran like new - quiet, smooth and full of power. When I got back, did a full service including its second timing belt. Did a complete inspection and nothing needed replacement. Have just had the driver's seat foam replaced with an OEM part and was amazed at the difference: like new.

I had mine replaced in 9/10 and due to mileage it is ready again. I had the water pump replaced then too. Don't want to delay but the parts are so "new"
200K. Original suspension except for wheel bearings. Not a UL so no worries about air suspension. Getting ready to do the timing belt. Again. Painted the hood for the second time. DC beltway has lots of pebbles. Great car.
BR3100:
Yes, I did see the timing belt that came out of the car; it looked pretty good. But the consequences of being wrong are so bad that I have made it a point of following the suggested maintainance intervals. Since I wrote the note about the LS430, I have just done the 90,000 mile service on my SC430 and replaced that timing belt too. I should get a volume discount.

I am about due for a timing belt but am thinking with less than 3 years on the WP I may just do the belt. I know the cost isn't that much more but a 3 year old water pump should be fine imo.
I'm thinking $7500 is a bit high, though.
Is the vin# on there? Would love to check the service history...

Hey BMW7_ls430 ,you're ls and mines looks pretty similiar . What type of wheel is that ? The miles on that ls makes me realized with proper care I still have alot of life left in my ls.
My 2001 LS w/ Nav has 233,000+ miles and still rolling strong. I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle across the country. (I did replace the Gen 2/3 Nav unit with the Gen 4 Nav player from a 2005 Toyota - easy interchangeable upgrade for $300.) I'm in the market for a '05 - '06 LS Custom Luxury or Ultra.
I just changed my oil today at 260,000. Only repairs have been front wheel bearings at 175,000 front right and 205,000 front left aside from brakes. Original struts and exhaust system. Call me crazy but I have usually run regular gas.
