Default 620,800 mile lexus 2006 ls430

Original owner. Car still runs amazing and is used as daily commuter. 200 to 800 miles per week. Original motor. Never rebuilt, oil change every 5000 miles and oem timing belts, pulleys and water pumps every 100 k. Biggest regret is I should have changed trans fluid every 60 k. There is no such thing as lifetime trans fluid. I has hard down sifts at 580 k . Tried fluid change and computer repair. Hard down shifts continued. Recently found a trans mechanic who changed my trans valve body
computer was sent to Florida to be resoldered and the car drives amazing

Wow! I’ve never heard of any car getting to that many miles on the original motor, that’s crazy

Oh that engine will make it to a million miles.

Unfortunately, yes, OP, if you changed trans fluid every 100k it would probably still be fine, too.

In any case this is astounding.

Default 330k in a 2001 LS430

330k in a 2001 LS430 base with sport suspension, bought new, same owner! My daily driver and am still in love with it! Going through the owners manual service book for the third time with the original engine.

Shaboom, I get it serviced every 7,500 miles. Everything which needs to get done, I do it. Mechanical problems don’t improve with age! True luxury car, no longer depreciating in value. Keep your ego in check and cruise!

Good attitude. So I assume you’re not one of those 10,000 mile oil change interval people. Your longevity with 7500 mi. oil change interval speaks for itself.
Are you one of those guys who say, “Back in 2001—Now that was when Lexuses were Lexuses!”

Have you ever changed the transmission fluid or the rear end oil?

Mine is a 2005, and I have 199,254 miles as of today. Rest assured, I'll post a pic as soon as I hit 200k!
