Oil changed with 5/30 M1 every 6 months (20k miles)
Regular fuel
Trans drained and filled, and BF changed every time i change my front brake pads or about once a year.
tb/wp done for the first time 260k.
at 310k i did struts all 4 strut mounts and lower control arm bushings.
After living in NYC for most of my life, and aware of the terrible unpaved streets, I could assume that even after 300K, you could have possibly avoided even replacing the struts and control arm bushings on smoother roads. Most of our LS430s have original shocks with high mileage. Regardless, your car has paid for itself many times over, especially in so much stop and go driving.

Default 02' High mileage

02' ultra lux pkg. w/196k mileage. 3 timing belts, religous 4k oil changes and fluids. Runs like day I picked up from dealer!
Worth every penny. Mechanic said he wouldn't be surprised another 90k to go!

Would any of you 200,000+ mile guys have any qualms about taking a 1,000 mile road trip?

I have a 2004 LS with 201,000 miles. I purchased it in 2008 with 54,000 miles. Getting ready for the major tune up. I finally will replace my water pump. I never replaced it during my first tune up. It's amazing how reliable this car is. My pump still has no leaks.

No hesitations at all. My LS has low miles, but not my RX. I will be taking my annual drive from GA to CO in Feb in my RX AWD with 350K on her!

04 Premium 183k. I replaced a wheel bearing due to 3 years of road construction safety lane grates I drove over as HWY 41 was rebuilt. Otherwise the only out of ordinary repair(tires, brakes etc.) has been a flat tire. It sits a little lower but runs sweet!

I'd have no qualms about taking a 200,000 mile trip. No...seriously.

Cars don't just fall apart... at least not Lexus'. If anything breaks its because of user neglect it postponement of maintenance. If you have no issues and car runs fine,i would have no 2nd thoughts of taking a 200k Lexus cross country.

You know LS drivers only eat lobster and filet mignon and of course imported caviar.

2001 standard package -98,000 miles. Not exceptional, but it still is as quiet and smooth as ever. I really do look forward to driving it to work every morning and home every night.

Also found a 2003 gold package with just 27,000 miles. I snapped it up for my wife. Still smells new! She couldn't be happier!
