Helo to everyone,
I'm new here as I stumbbled on to this site after purchasing my UL 2002 430. First let me tell you I did't really know what a wonderful automobile the ls430 is until after I purchased by car. I did a fair amount of research, and decided this is the car I want. It turned out to be more than I hoped for. Such a pleasure to drive. I find myself making up places to go just so I can drive this baby. I bought it from an older gentleman about a year and a half ago, with 55,000 miles, excellent condition with good service history. The price was 17,400.
I've never been sorry, but after reading the stories about problems with the air suspension, I am a little uneasy. Can someone give a little reassurance?

UL-trim, the best.
the LS-section of the forum may have more insight on the Air Suspension stuff.
But welcome and congratulations!

welcome to clublexus and congrats on your car
air suspension, it's just another tear and wear item, just a quite expensive one. i guess it's just part of "ownership" experience

I really like my UL. No regrets, as I knew I was going to keep it in top condition regardless.
Enjoy your car like no other.

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. Don't let air suspension ruin your experience as many members here switch out to regular shock and spring with happy result. No worry and be happy

Congrats on an awesome investment! who knows, your air suspension may last the life of the car. just save some change for when the time comes to repair/replace - these cars are worth it.

As stated above, put a little $ aside for possible repairs, but more importantly continue to enjoy the car.Originally Posted by Marklouis

I also own a 4-runner for winter driving so I don't put too many miles on my lexus. I now have 65,000 miles.Originally Posted by GLIDESUL
Welcome and congrats on the ride. How many miles do you have currently on your car.

Id love a nice 4runner!! what year is yours
Test drove a 2001 UL LS 430 last week...but the RX 300 won out with the baby on the way. Absolutely feel in love with the LS. I will own one some day...just not today. Enjoy.
