oh, if you really want to feel better, go to mbworld.org in the w220 section, scroll down the pages and half of the new threads you'll see are about airmatic (air suspension on the benz) failures

Funny you should ask. I am the original owner, purchased in 1998. You talk about Lexus reliability, I just don't think it will ever beat a 4-runner. I have had exactly zero problems or repairs other than routine maintenance. People all the time want to buy it, but it is worth more to me than I could ever get.
Of course I'm kind of **** when it comes to taking care of cars.
