Hi. i am new to Club Lexus. This would be my first post. I have a 2004 LS 430 UL with PCS.

My question is will any 2004 LS steering wheel fit on my car. or do i need to find one with the UL & PCS trim?

Aso does anyone know where i can find a nice used steering wheel? The car is PERFECT except the steering wheel ( Bad wood cracks. & Leather worn )

 

What color is your interior (black, ecru, or saddle)? Does the wood on the current wheel match the wood on your dash?

Yes my wood on my current wheel does match the rest of the wood in my car. My int color is Tan. but the leather on the steering wheel is darker. My trim code on the car door jam reads BO3A/A761E im not sure if that helps.

I think all steering wheel leather is black. I just wonder if the color of wood on the wheel varies to match the interior golden maple or walnut wood choices.

 

^^^^^^^Not sure if thats true Caddy, mine is taupe. It matches the top of the dash.

 

I have an 04 UL with ecru interior. The steering wheel leather matches the dash, which is a darker brown.

 

I stand corrected. Are cashmere interiors the same? What about ash?

 

^^ yes,the steering wheel is usually matched to the seat/door colour.

I'm sure I can figure out the color, the main question is does PCS change anything in the steering wheel, same hook up?

 

i don't think the steering wheels are different. i have a UL and there are no buttons on my steering wheel that are not on the model directly below it (CL or ML i forget). just make sure it has the phone, nav voice buttons on it.

 

This question might be answered by looking at the owners manual under description of controls.

 

I have an '01 430 UL with ecru interior and ecru birds eye malpe wood. The steering wheel and dash are a greyish brown color. I recently used an SEM product to refurbish the steering wheel leather. The leather looks good now, but I don't have a good eye for matching the color. I chose one that is a little too grey. Has anyone else tried this and found a good color match?

 

New replacement steering wheels are available; but, not cheap.
