I have a 2001 LS 430. I've noticed when the door closer pulls the driver door, it squeaks! Is there a way to oil it to get rid of the squeak?

I'm interested as well. In the past, I had mine adjusted at the dealer, and the squeak went away, so I know there is a "fix" to adjust and quiet them.

 

Mine squeaks also.

 

why not try a little spray silicone?

 

There is also adjustment on it. My front pass door tries to close, pops open, tries to close, and pops open. I have to then open and close it to have it shut. Maybe I need to see if I can find a sympathetic tech at the dealer who can clue me in on what the repair entails.

 

I just got an '01 UL, and my door also squeaks when it closes. Anyone out there know what's up? I think we all want to know. Thanx

 

Hello everyone...I'm new to the forum...1st post. My doors squeak too...lubricant hasn't helped, but I could be spraying the wrong area. Anyone had luck on this?
