door dragging on hinge?
My driver side door is dragging on the hinge when I open it.
it scrapes and it sounds terrible..
Is there an easy fix for this? The door seems to be lined up properly (when closed and looking at it from the outside.) so I don't think I need to unbolt the hinge and lift the door.

check to see if the door sags a bit when you open it. You can lift the door up when you open it and see if the sound goes away. Are you the original owner of the car?

yeah, if I lift hard enough it doesn't make the noise. I guess that means the hinge needs to be re-set, right?
No, I'm owner #3. #2 bought it CPO though.
EDIT: So do I just loosen the hinge, lift and retighten?

Don't know about my door dragging, but mine was squeaking like a SOB earlier this winter before I hit it with some type of lube. All I had to say at auto parts store was that the door squeaked at the hinge and they turned me onto a $2-3 aeorsol bottle of lube. See if that works? Good luck on a cheap fix.

The reason why I ask if you're the first owner is sometimes the hinges are bad and sag, so the rig fix is to adjust the striker to align the door.

WD-40 isn't really a lubricant. It will make matters worse after a short while, likely just washing away the proper grease.
Use white lithium grease.

I agree...this will take care of it. The door shouldn't sag just because, unless it was messed with in the first place. +1 for lithium grease

nah, it doesn't click..
You know that fork lookin' thing in the mid section of the door? I think the door is sitting on it and grinding when it opens/closes.
