Default Navigation page as the default

Hey,

New to the forum here. I have a 2006 LS430 with the Nav. Searched for an answer to this and couldn't find one although I'm sure it's been asked. Every time I have the radio selected on the screen, and put the car into reverse and the BU camera comes on and I then put it back in drive or I get a phone call and the screen changes to the phone page (basically when something changes the screen I have selected), when it reverts back, the map page comes on and I have to again select the radio page. In other words, the map page is the default page. Is there a way to change that and have no default page? I'd like to have the last page I SELECTED come back up after the camera goes off, I hang up the bluetooth, etc.

Like I said, this has probably been answered before but I can't seem to find it. Thanks for any help...

I think this is what you want.

Setting screen
1. Push the “OPTION” button to display
the option screen and touch the
“Information” switch.
2. Touch the “Screen Setting”
switch.
(a) Automatic transition
You can select a function that enables
automatic return to the navigation
screen from the audio screen.
5u008
Select the “ON” or “OFF” and then
touch the “OK”.
ON: The navigation screen automatically
returns from the audio or air conditioner
screen 20 seconds after the end of audio
or air conditioner screen operation.
OFF: The audio or air conditioner screen
remains on.

BlackUltra,

I tried that. It does exactly what I don't want, only faster. I don't want it to go to the Nav/Map page at all unless I select it. I want it to revert back to the page I've selected after I've hung up the phone and the phone page goes away, after I've selected Drive with the transmission and the back-up camera goes off, etc. Know what I mean? When I did what you're talking about, it automatically goes to the Map page after 20 seconds no matter what, i.e., hit the audio, a/c, or any other button and after 20 seconds it goes back to the Map page. Not what I'm looking for but thanks...

I thought if you turned this feature OFF you would get what you wanted.

Maybe if I just skip the "I Agree" when the thing fires up and go directly to "audio" it won't do it. Might be as simple as that but I think I recall the initial "I Agree" lawyer page comes up again. I'll try that....

Nope, just tried it and it goes back to the I Agree page.

You could try "Option"--"Display"--"Screen off"

How does that respond?
