When I start up, after the Lexus screen prompt, the default is a full navigation screen. I always have to hit the home button to get my split Nav/Radio screen. Is there a way to make my split screen default? My wife's RX350 default is split screen.

 

As far as I know, there isn't a way. I'll be monitoring this thread though, because I would definitely prefer to have it default to my home screen.

 

For me it always returns to the last thing I was doing. For instance, if I was doing something with the radio last time I was in the car, it will be full-screen audio. I haven't figured out a way to make it go to Home every time... I wish there was a way.

 

Same here. My screen is split & stays that way. I have radio on the left side (2/3 screen) and then navigation on right side (1/3 screen).

Mine starts up with the Nav too. Maybe its a 2014 IS thing.

 

My 2016 starts with nav only if I am A) on nav or B) on Home when I shut the car off. 2016 here.

 

2017 here and it returns to the last setting

 

i recently drove a RX with a larger screen than my '14 is350, and when i restart the car, it is naturally split. but since i have a '14 my screen is the smaller 7" when i am in Home, and restart it goes back to nav. i'm guessing the users who are able to start split are the 17/18 with the larger screens i'm assuming.

 

I also have a 2017 here and it returns to the last setting.

 

After further experimentation, mine starts up on the radio screen if it's what I had up last, and nav if I had anything but the radio up last. I can't get it to start up on the home screen at all.

 

Mine won't start up on the home screen ever either

 

I think the 2017s+ starts at whatever screen(s) you last had up since the last time you turned off the car.

 

As far as I know, having it default to the home screen is impossible. I believe there was another thread about that before.

 

I don't use my Nav that much. So I just have the display turned off. So after the initial turn screens. It will just go black.
