What are the dimensions of the trunk pass-through slot for skis?

 

Not sure, but I can tell you I recently had 4 pairs of full size skis for adults poking through the ski passthrough.

 

I actually want to be able to stick the wing of an RC plane through there, that's why I ask. It's about a foot wide and 6 feet long.

If you had four skis in there, sounds like my wing will probably fit; but I just want to be sure.

 

The pass through on my 2005 LS is 6.5" wide and 7.5" tall. About 9" diag with the bottom corners sq and top rounded. there also is a metal hoop part of the latch that reduces the height to 7" in the middle of the opening. Distance from the opening to the back of the trunk is right around 45". sounds like you're SOL.
