I had the same wind sound coming from my Ls430. Out side of the vehicle on either side of the wind shield, there are two black strip about a foot and half long. Try pushing on the black strip from the top to bottom to ensure that the strip is seated properly. While waxing my car I pushed on one of the black strip and heard a sound like something was locked in place. Once the black strip was back in place no more wind noise.

Sorry for bringing this up after a years time, but I got my LS430 three days ago, and I have noticed the noise on the windscreen while driving on the highway (60mph and above)....

Have you managed to sort the problem out?

I had the same issue with my 04. I found a glass shop that would do it, but took some convincing. They ended up ordering a new top seal, with the chrome strip on it. They then cut out the old seal, put a solid bead of adhesive then put the new seal in its place. Not sure if they had to trim the new seal first, but the tech should figure it out on his own. Fixed the problem. You don't need to pull the window out. Looks factory.
