I got mine for $194.28 + $16.98 = $211.26. You sure you quoted for the "bin" and not the ashtry/lighter unit right? The lighter unit is more expensive. What was part number? 58810-50020-xx right?
Yup, that is exactly what happened. The first quote was for the part "console box with ashtray", whereas the second quote (I sent another request with more description) was "without ashtray. The price quote is what you mention above ($194.28 + shipping).

Thanks for your reply

That's going to suck (in a way).

I'm selling my 2008 Avalon, which has a very nice 2 cup holder and a wonderful sliding arm rest. Those aren't available on the 2005 or 2006 lS 430, are they?

I'll be losing 2 things, but getting back, albeit a smaller version, my coin tray back (traveling salesman and tolls )

The sliding arm rest is a great items for those long trips. Is it available in any year or model LS?

What do you mean by sliding arm rest? That it slides back and forth while in closed position? If so, the LS430 did not offer this. Once closed, the armrest is fixed position and does not move forward or back.

As for coin tray, the little tray in this discussion is not the "official" coin tray as the LS430 has a built in tray for coins on the left side of the steering wheel that opens and closes coming out. Is has a groove for coins.

Back to the armrest, the position of it does not make it very comfortable for me as I find my elbow is resting about three inches from the front leading edge, when the whole armrest is over twelve inches in length.

Yes, the armrest when closed can slide forward about 8" or so. A WONDERFUL thing for those long trips.

The Avalon doesn't have a coin tray (like my 2008 Camry did) - which I do miss (I guess I'll just have to break down and get a TransPass).

I've looked at several LS 430's and yes, they have a nice coin tray (albeit smaller then the Camry).

A few things I'll miss, but I guess to get a LS I'll have to get over it

The LS430's coin box is not too big, definitely could be bigger, but for me, it's big enough. I use "EZPass" here in NY/NJ area (goes up to Boston and down to Virginia) so the $8 or whatever in quarters that the LS430 will old is good enough for me. I only use the coins when I park and need quarters. My RX300 on the other hand has about a $20 coin tray takes a long time to clear that baby out.

Probably better to ask at the RX-First Generation forum than here. I happen to have an RX300 also, which holder you looking to work on, the slide out ones or the pop up ones?
