You’ll be fine. Sport models of the LS came with 18’s, you just have to get a slightly lower profile tire. You can look the exact size on tire rack but you’ll be able to keep all the same speedometer settings with no mods if you use the same tire diameter, regardless of the wheel size
Thank you. I am acquiring an SC that I want to change the wheels on and I want to take the original SC wheels and put on my LS because they have good tires on them and get rid of the 17" ones on the LS. Sounds like it will work.

Hi Jimisbell. Just be prepared that your LS will be riding somewhat firmer with the wheel exchange than what you are used to with your 17s.
It will probably be a lot more firm because I am used to running on flat tires. The rims on the LS leak so bad that I have to fill the tires weekly. So I am used to soft tires.....LOL. Hoping the 18s from the SC dont leak as bad.
You'll need 10-15mm spacer for most wheels that are not meant for big brake caliper clearances. The SC pie plates will require a 10mm spacer to clear the caliper.
Back in the "good ol' daze" all wheels were 16".....well, most all.... the differences were how many bolts and what was the size of the circle. If you had a rat tail file you could almost make anything fit anything. Its just too complex these days.

Hi, do you know if longer studs would be needed to fit the 10mm spacer? Ideally I'd like to just get a basic spacer and slap my pie plates onto my LS430.
I'm assuming 15mm+ would need longer studs for sure, or the spacers which come with studs attached to them. I want to minimize use of spacers. I've heard 5mm can also clear the caliper.
TLDR;
Is the minimum spacer for front caliper clearance 10mm or 5mm, and if 10mm, can I do 10mm on the standard studs? Thanks
