Default Filter for LS430...

Heated/Cooled seats.

Does anyone know where one could find an aftermarket replacement filter for theLS430's heated/cool seats. .My local dealer tells me that the 3'X5" filter will cost $68.00 each. That's a lot more than I want like to pay.

Any information on locating a less expensive filter would be appreciated.

Thanks

Have you tried l-tunedparts.com and lexus-parts.com? They're both CL vendors who could get you better pricing than your local dealer.

Default Air Conditioned Seat Filter

How do you remove/install the Air Conditioned Seat filter?

Do you have to unbolt the seat? I tried to pull it out from under the seat but its tight and which way does it come out??

Thanks

There are two tabs on each side that can be pulled away from the filter body to unhook the filter from the housing. The filter falls right off when these tabs are unhooked.

If by "you" you are referring to me and not the OP then the answer to your question is that I just bought the car and noticed all the filters looked as if they had never been changed (tons of dirt on them) therefore I was pretty sure the seat filters needed replacing/cleaning. They also has dirt on them.

In my case, I noticed that the already poor airflow in the seat had become even worse. I removed the filter and found it to be very dirty.
