whats up guys newbie here i was playing with the programming and the navigation stopped working and is telling me that to insert the right version of the disc, i cant hit menu or a nything to get into the sytem program. ca anyone help me fix this problem
man you might be screwed.... you might need to take it back to dealership and see if they can fix it. the menu page is very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing
Question, if you unplug the battery, does the system go back to the default settings? if so, you should try it after trying to eject the disc and reinsert it again. You might have changed the region or something.
i took it to the dealer last week they siad theres no disc and that someone took it and the thing is im the only one that drives the car so its kind of hard to believe that unless one of them took it. but the thing is it says to insert the right disc not that there is no disc
In order to remove the unit, remove the two screws on both sides of the unit. It is supported by two U-shaped arches that carry on to the bottom of the floor. When you remove it, just put your hand under the unite and with both hands gently push up to reveal the slot and the eject button. When I removed the unit, there WERE some squeaky noises so dont be scared. There is a CD-like slot where the DVD will be located. Next to it is a plastic like switch which can be moved to the left or right. Move it to the direction it is not already in and it will reveal the eject button. The only problem with checking this, at least for me was with putting back the unit. When you put it back it is very harsh and some force is required. Like I said earlier, do not be afraid when you hear these squeaky noises. It is not as easy as it seems, at least for me. But I had no prior experience with doing anything in the car.
