I need some information on updating our 2002 LS430. It is still under warranty, yet they want nearly $400.00 to do the job??????????

What is the year version the dealership is installing??

What is the latest version one can purchase outside dealership??

Is it easy to install?

Does it void warranty "IF" you install on your own???

Does anyone have a DVD current one for the LS430 we can borrow or rent from them??

Does the Nav DVD vary from model to model???

Thanks for you help, hope it was not too much to ask.

Johnna,

Can you please explain what you mean with this question? You need the DVD in at all times for it to work.

Can You Direct Me To Where (other Than The Dealer) I Can Get The Softward Dvd Update For My Ls430? They Want $400.00 And It Is Still Under Warranty?

warranty or not it doesn't matter, it's not covered.

it's just a dvd disc. you insert it into the drive in the trunk and it will upgrade automaitcally. and yes you need to keep it in there all the time
