Where's the oil filter?
I just bought a 2002 LS 430 and am going over the car to learn all the mechanicals, etc. I haven't located the oil filter yet. Does anyone know how to access it? I assume you need to get at it from the bottom. Is it necessary to remove one of the plastic air dams?

yess...you have to open up the lower bit of the car by removing the main plastic skidplate under the engine. in the course of a regular oil change, this is probably the most time consuming bit if ur using hand tools. nothiing especialy dicccult tho.
