Question BlueMusic Bluetooth Adapter 2001

I recently purchased a Blue Music 6+6 Bluetooth adapter that is supposed to plug into the CD changer port at the back of my radio, here is the link to it:
https://www.musikimauto.de/BlueMusic...bCZvFx6G1RiAAg

However it seems that on my Infinity RDS system I do not have such a port, I attached an image below of the back of my radio with the 6+6 port of the BlueMusic Device.
I also ordered this Y splitter which is on its way

Any ideas on how to get this to plug in and work?
I have a 2001 LS430 with the Nav and Infinity RDS audio

https://www.aliexpress.us/item/22518...yAdapt=glo2usa

plug on left is 3+3, middle is 10+10, and right is 6+6

My concern is that the 20 pin y splitter will not work if the 20 pin port is meant for some kind of power supply or something, rather than on other models which have a dedicated 6+6 or 5+7 cd changer port alongside the 20 pin

This seems to be an issue with Nav units not having a third plug, the non nav models have the third cd plug.

In the unit description it says it fits LS 2003-2007. See if you can find one for the 2001 and it will probably have the correct adapter cable. I looked and the options are a lot more expensive. The cable you ordered will probably work if it plugs right in.

Unfortunately they do not, I emailed the company and will update with any news.

Mine is also a 2001 and if I were in your situation and the Y adapter you ordered with extra plug will plug in I would try it. For me I replaced my nav unit with the 9 inch android unit.

I've had the BlueMusic module in my 2004 for 4 years now and it works great.

However, as they state on their website it is for the late 2003 and onwards (models with Mark Levinson and the 6+6 connector (facelift models).
It relies on using CD2 mode, which I don't think was included in the earlier head units.
What happens if you wire it all up, and then hit the CD button on the radio twice? If it selects CD2 then it might work.

My 2001 does not have CD2 but I think in his situation it might overlap the cd or tape audio. The Y with 6+6 he ordered is best chance without splicing.

Here is the correct cable. I had this exact same problem and while the company was responsive. I still feel they made a mistake. They did offer a refund on the cable. BTW, the unit works great once I got the cable. I would send pix of the back of your unit before ordering.
correct cable from Alibaba

Ordered the one from the link you sent, do you have the ML system though?

That is a good point, however the y cable i ordered is for another Chinese product which is meant to work by replacing the cd player on the 2001-2003, we'll see though ill get back to you

Ok, so the cable will connect the Bluemusic module in place of the CD player. Fingers crossed it works for you :-)
If it does, be sure to post the details on exactly what worked as I am sure there are other 01-03 LS owners out there who would love a cheap bluetooth music option.

Just so happens that I own an 02 and 05, both non-ML, and it works on both, the same cable. Here is the back of my head unit. I sent this image to the company showing that the cable is not correct. Best advice is to take a photo of the back of your unit and send to the company to make sure they send the correct cable. Takes literally 5-10 min to pull the unit.

Hope the cable works but in description it states: "Please note that this adapter not compatible with Navi, DVD and Touch Screen Radio". Won't know for sure till try. What I did early on before I changed out to 9 Inch android was to use a cassette adapter which I could hook any audio aux device into but the quality is also limited to what the cassette head is rated.
