I've noticed that the IAT sensor "bulb" is a smokey gray color on one side and the other side of the bulb is reddish/clear, is that how its supposed to look or the grayish color dirt buildup? Thanks in advance.

 

I answered my own question, it was definitely dirt, i used brake cleaner to dissolve it and on the maf as well, then I hit them again with crc maf cleaner to take care of any residue, worked like a charm, thanks.
