For instance, if the MAF is dirty or whatever the case may be, would it cause one of the A/F sensors to trip? I have a Bank 1 Sensor 1 malfunction. I also realize that after cleaning the engine bay, I had to re-clean the MAF sensor, because the car was idling rough. I’ve also cleaned the throttle body and IACV.
Clean the MAF, clear the code. See if it you get lucky. If it comes back, it's the sensor. It will be the sensor though. A MAF issue would effect both banks, not just B1.

Theoretically yes, but in almost every case, a dirty/faulty MAF will throw a Bank One code only.
