Default 1998 LS remote entry beeps, locks don't respond

Currently trapped at a Walmart. My 1998 LS will not unlock, and for reasons unknown the ignition cylinder and door cylinders do not match so I cannot manually open the doors or trunk. I loaded my stuff in my trunk after unlocking the car and then opening the trunk and loading my groceries. I put my cart away and came back to the car locked. Lock and unlock and trunk release all elicit various beep from the car, and the security light on dash responds. No door locks or trunk release respond.
What should I do?

Default Battery

If it worked before, then perhaps your key fob coin cell battery is tired.

Will need a small Phillips screwdriver to open and replace.

Look at number on coin cell.

After waiting ~10 minutes, I tried my key fob again and now the car does not respond to any key commands, not even the beeping it was doing before. I tried my second key fob and same thing, no response. Both fobs have very new batteries, the light on the fob works fine, and I was able to unlock the car and open the trunk when I initially approached it. Something happened between opening the trunk and then trying to unlock it again. Security light on dash is steady blinking, indicating doors locked and system armed.
I feel like the car has gone into a security lockdown mode and even if I gain entry to the car, it's not going to start. Why would it forget my keys? Sign of ECU failure? Really at a loss here

that sucks, let us know you managed, not much you can do unless you have the keys to the doors that was your first problem not having the door keys, i know you know that already. you won't know further details until you get in and try to start it, not much you can do other than call AAA, call a locksmith or whoever and somehow get in then figure the rest out

What coin cell Battery in your key?

Brand?

Use Panasonic.

BR1616 or CR1616?

Solder joint issues?

I had a feeling the lock cylinder issue would bite me in the a$$ one day,
I just don't understand why the ignition cylinder, glove box, and interior trunk lock are all the same Key pattern but the exterior cylinders are all a different pattern. Makes no sense, and will be very expensive to remedy. That will be my next project, at least getting the drivers door cylinder re-keyed to my keys after all of this.
Bought a lockout pick and one of those inflatable bags to wedge the door open. Will have update tonight after I get into the car after work.

If it was me I'd just try and find a door cylinder at the junkyard if they had the key. What the heck, it's just one more key ya gotta carry on your keyring.

Update:
Broke into the Lexus using one of those inflating bags and a lockout rod from O'reilly's. I've called locksmiths a few too many times for lockout situations, it's time i owned the tools.
I pulled back the driver's door interior lock switch, the alarm did not go off. Put key in ignition, security light turned off, car started perfectly fine. Removed key and tried using the remote entry buttons. Lock responded, nothing else did. After a few cycles and inserting the key in the ignition, all functions seem to be restored. I of course won't be relying on then or trusting the remote entry.
Furthermore, of my 2 keys, me newer key seems to be erased from keyless entry now. The car came with an aftermarket blocky key, with seemingly oem internals. I recently got a new fob from Lixiousauto.com and had zero issues with it. The luxiousauto fob is the one that is now erased from keyless entry. Starts the car fine, but now button response. Long day, am tired, not sure how to investigate this.

What function does "inflating bag" serve in breaking into a Lexus?

Any images?

Jam wedge in corner of door, work inflatable bag past weather stripping seal, inflate until a suitable gap is created in the top right corner of door.

Glad ya got in and you got your car back. I used to just use a large screwdriver and a long coat hanger to do the same thing. The trick is to pry it open just enough to get the wire in or you'll bend the door frame and it'll leak. The tow truck guys don't care about that, they just want to get it open as fast as possible so the customer is happy at that moment.
Now you just need to get the key and door cylinder to match. It'll suck if this happens again.
