Long Beep

Hi Guys, I have had my car now for about 8 months, and the other day I heard a long beep as I approached the drivers door.

I had just put something in my trunk, and was moving towards the door, and just before I put my hand on the inside of the door handel to unlock my car, I heard a long beep. I have never heard that before, can anyone tell me what that was real quick before I go search my manuals.

that happens to me when I try to lock the car while one of the doors is open maybe even the trunk

Yes, you got it. I swim and always open the trunk first then lock the doors, place fob in trunk and shut the trunk lid. I get the long beep all the time.

Yep, it does that to me anytime i try to lock the doors before all the passengers have closed theirs.

Just as an information... wouldn't it be possibile to exclude that damn 'forever' BIP BIP BIP that happens when you open the driver's door?
Many times it happens that you want to have the car with engine off, but Radio/DVD switched on, and if you open the door it starts a forever beeping that drives me crazy...
