Mostly its 10mm deep socket and 17mm socket, same in wrenches.A small assortment of extensions.,maybe a couple, 2-3 inch long.A very small phillips for top screw on headlight that holds turn signal,a regular phillips to remove inner fender well.A few flat screwdrivers to pry with like removing turn signals, thread on that here somewhere too. Some electrical tape for end of screwdriver when popping out turn signals from bottom next to headlight so you dont scratch things.

So a cheapy socket set,a couple wrenches and a few screwdrivers should do it.Adjustable pliers may be helpful, getting my damaged parts off it helped. I didnt need anything else on what Ive done so far....seems like you can strip the car with a 10 and a 17mm.

When I do it I'll try to get a good set of pictures too.

I like how I posted the same thing weeks ago and no one typed anything valuable. Guess I’m not part of the community 🙄

I would have shared, had I been around.Doubt its anything personal, just timing.I will say,it was an involved, difficult, very time consuming search to find helpful posts and just lucky I saved them in my Lexus bookmarks.

Cool, got the bumper cover top bracket that runs width of car,fog lights and side marker.38 dollars, and a kid helped me pull a fender,he owns 3 of em,very generous. So now know how fenders and bumper cover gets removed. On fender, the kick panel part you pry it off,its held on by sticky tape, and 3 bolts hidden under there,4 on top of fender,a couple hidden under wheel well cover, and the rest, you'll see em as you get going on it.All ten mm,you do need an allen wrench to get one wheel well bolt off. Most of the wheel well also have a phillips on bolt head and they came right out.About 3 hidden by turn signal so you have to remove that too.

There still is some nice guys out there. I used to help whoever I could at the junkyard. They are there for the same reason you are, fellow car guys.
Nice to see you got what you needed for a good price.

Young man made my day.He needs a right side passenger turn signal, darn thing disintegrated when I tried to remove it so was toast when he showed up.May run into him again,he also knows if you need a LS400 part you get there the minute PYP lists the car on the lot. They have a free service you can sign up to that gives those listings on cars you choose.

Funny he said if he finds a good bumper he will take any color and just paint it,he was also aware lexus body color spray cans available.Ive been thinking the same thing.
Use the PYP garage option on this link
https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/

I think one of the links above shows where a member made a tool, like an ice pick or slender screw driver,he bent the tip at a 90 degree angle, about an inch long.....that will reach along side bottom of the signal and pull it off where it connects at bottom to the headlight. They get really attached together over the years, pry on the bottom of signal it just tears apart.

This is the tab on signal...Note also the tab on top has a phillips that screws into top of headlight, remove that screw also

That tab above slides into this part on headlight. You have to pull signal tab forward out of the headlights slot
