Default Trunk

So I finally got my trunk vents installed. But when putting the carpeting I notice there's nothing solid in the middle so in the absence of the spare it sinks when putting something on it. I don't remember if there was a board or something there going over the spare well. Can someone confirm for me? 99

Note I don't have a spare wheel anymore as one of my main ones was bent. Looking for a spare currently.

There is a rigid liner that is under the carpet mat that spans that section.

Damn that means I lost it or never had it I just don't remember I pulled it out a year ago when tracking down leaks.

Would a 90 or 94 work? Was at the junk yard getting stuff for another car when I saw they still had theirs.

It should be the same but you can measure it before you go to the yard. If the older one is shaped any different you could cut to fit, it's just hard, stiff cardboard.
I remember driving years without a spare in one of my cars, til I got a flat and was stranded. (way before cell phones) Ya used to have to walk miles to try and find a pay phone. And hope it worked. Then I realized it doesn't matter what the spare looks like, it's only a spare, for emergencies. Even if your rim is bent, it could be a spare. I hate seeing people stranded.

I'm gonna put on a used tire on the bent rim.
