you should care about some stupid video since stupid videos can be very conclusive, such as these actual results i got from blackstone labs on my mobil 1 5w-30 that was in the LS:

obviously u didnt read the vw forum post..an oil analysis was done..thats empirical evidence...period..thats how u determine if a oil is good.

I use NAPA full synthetic I buy for $2.99/qt when they're on sale. Can't beat $15 for 5 quarts and I don't have to wait for it. You just need to buy it when its cheap, typically every couple months they have a sale and stock up on one or two 5qt jugs.

I really haven't had any bad experiences with any oils and I've used MANY different kinds. I think its more important to select the correct viscosity for your climate you live in.

no matter how much the oil topic has been discussed, I learn something new every time! I love reading stuff on BITOG and came to my own conclusions with what oil I use depending on the vehicle.

amazon oil is just another of many MANY out there. it's nice to have choices!

Must be a slow news day. I've been using Supertech in all my cars for a couple of years now. I highly doubt ANY of these oils will have any kind of adverse effect on the engines as long as you change your oil religiously.

To 95 percent of people oil brand doesn't matter. If I was driving a 3 million dollar car then it'd be worth a shot to see what's better but driving a 20 year old car that's only worth a few grand it's not worth my time. Since I started driving I have used Penzoil in ALL my cars. Not because it's better but that's just what my father used. If I need to get just 1 quart then it's whatever I pick up. I don't think I've ever changed my oil under 5K miles. (Lots of times alot longer then that) I never had a problem with any engine because of oil quality. Wow, maybe cuz I use Penzoil. I just think it's funny when people get into these oil debates. But, it gives us all something to read about.
