Need advice ('93 LS400) - Pressure buildup even after fuel cap gasket replacement
I recently replaced the old fuel cap gasket with a new one because I noticed pressure build-up in the fuel tank. However, even after installing the new gasket the fuel tank seems to build up pressure which is released when I start to unscrew the fuel tank cap.
Would anybody know why this could still be happening? I thought it may be due to tightening the cap too tight, but I tighten it until it clicks as you are supposed to..
I have it tight but not till the clicks right now, and will find out if that may be a cause of the problem.

I worry that the vapour system is not in a good condition. Have you checked the canister and other components/lines related to the vapour?
