Default 00 LS400 anybody replace there stereo and have there stock amp and sub working

I have a 00 LS400
I recently put a double din apple car play to my car. And I asked around and they tell me. They have to bypass the stock amp. So no longer will have a sub.
Anybody have there stock amp and sub working wit a aftermarket stereo.
Any kind of hardness or tips!

Attached is a block diagram of the the stock amplifier unit. For those who are good at audio circuits, it is not very difficult to use only the right block which includes amplifiers. But you need to analyse the circuits intensively.

The stock amplifier unit includes the DSP, it's controller and amplifiers. The DSP part makes the rear and sub woofer sound source from the L and R sound source. You can directly use amplifiers without using the DSP. Of course you need to modify the circuits though.

Replace the head unit and install a compact 5 channel amplifier in place of the stock Pioneer amp under the passenger front seat. You will have to run signal cables and new power wiring to that position, but you can tap the speaker output leads there at the factory point to distribute amplified audio back out to the speaker positions. Conversely, you can bypass the factory amp, wire the speaker outs from the new radio to the factory leads at the amp, and add a small mono amplifier like the Alpine KTP-190U just for the factory woofer. Could very well re-use primary cable from the factory harness to supply +12v for the amp, there is a switched turn-on in the factory harness also. Go ahead and ground the amp separate from the factory harness.

I used a harness from Beat-Sonic. model # SLA-21AAD in my '00. Everything works great with the OEM audio. It's a bit spendy but allows the use of your OEM amp without re-wiring everything.

Good option to retain factory amp, however, $280?!?!?!? ****, I'd rather just buy a new aftermarket amp and install it.

Yes it is a bit much haha but if I read everything right when I was looking at installing a head unit (and I could be wrong) if you don't use the factory amp on the ucf21, you would have to re-wire all of the speakers from the new head unit. Again I'm not 100% on that but I wanted a more plug and play setup for my install.

Do some searching and find the threads about doing it. My thread in around 2013 was about a Best Buy installer fabricating a simple wiring harness that allowed the Nakamichi amp and all speakers including the sub in my 2000 LS400 to work with a double DIN Kenwood. Total cost including the Kenwood, fabricated harness, mounting hardware and labor was under $500. It sounded wonderful and had a gazillion features but I moved on to other vehicles.
