LS400 VVTi soleniod- P1349 and P1346
Hi All, first post here.
Car has been running very rough, read codes and got P1349 and P1346
Followed advice from other posts on here, cleaned the oil control valves but the left hand side ( bank 1 ) valve still sticks.
The codes on the parts are 15340-50010 0050 on the faulty one
and 15330-50010 0040 on the working one
Can anyone recommend a parts supplier/ dealer who would be able to supply them and who ships the the UK?
also, is there any equivalent parts i could use, from a newer LS or GS for example?
Thanks in advance,
Darren

Miles on car, was there recent service performed?
The OCV is a common error and replacement when these two error codes come up.
The other is a timing belt that is off a tooth or so. If this error came up after a timing belt service, have it towed back to the shop for them to fix.

If there aren't any mechanical problems, the next step will be to check OCV drive signals coming from the ECU.

Hello thanks for your quick response
i had a probelm with the alternator i didnt replace it immediately. I keep jumping the car before i use until i get this issue. After that i bought a denso alternater from walmart app and I installed it. The battery light turned off but this issue still exist. I replaced the spark plugs but stll issue the same.
milage is 199000
the sticker on the engine said the timing belt was replaced on 92000
i dont know what I should do. I really like this car and i dont want to loose it. I am the second owner.i bought it on 2016 and i never got any issue with it

Use another shop, sounds like they are passing you off because they don't have the familiarity to work with Toyota/Lexus.

After long troubleshooting we found that all or the cylinders that located in the left side are not working, means the car has only four workings cylinders out of 8
