Ha. Wouldnt be the first time i installed something upside down Seriously though i struggled with that. it was hard to tell which end was up vs down. When i tried mounting it the other way it didnt seem to fit well at all. so i tried it this way and it seemed to fit better. its easy enough to remove. ill try flipping it over again this evening and give it one more try.

This is the bottom view. Pass side to the left.

Thanks for the pic. This means i have mine installed incorrectly. I will need to flip it over so that this side is facing down.

BEFORE (old splash guard)

AFTER (NEW - Genuine Toyota) Not sure if you can tell but both tow hooks are bent inwards by P/O. Tried to move it back with a BFH but didnt budge. I just need to find my sledgehammer somewhere in the garage...

Or you can just cut the hole a bit bigger so they fit through. I wouldn't try to bend those unless you use some extreme heat.

Am I stuck with the OEM one? Or is there a cheaper alternative? For my 99
