Default Weekend projects on my LS400

Soooo. This weekend I'm finally installing a couple small parts. Parking pole specifically for 95-97 ls400. But I'll be putting it on the passenger side. Future reference for anyone, 98+ and 95-97 parking poles are different, the motor angle is different. Here's some pics. And yeah my cars a 1998. Lol.

cool stuff, but wouldn't installing the pole on the opposite side of what it was originally designed for wouldn't bolt up properly? hope you get it on, and wired up nicely. where is the OE switch located or are you going to run your own switch?

Haha but the the thing is its for a 95 body so it matches my bumper but my car is a 98 so even then it wouldn't bolt up haha. But yeah 20 min later it's done. Going to run my own dpdt switch since it'll be harder to find a oem black switch for a 98 lol

It's a west coast thing. Never seen them here in the east. It helps you gauge how close you are to something when you park. Just like the flex poles on the end of a snow plow.

it's a Japanese thing where they park at such close quarters to each other that cars have retractable bumper poles, antenna masts that go half way down to reduce height clearances, power folding side mirrors, etc.
looking good tommy, love the scaras!
