Removing Air Suspension components..
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did search and couldn't find anything about this.
Seeing that I no longer have the air struts, is it possible to remove all of the air suspension components related to this? Obviously without tripping any ECU codes or screwing anything else up??

Of course you can remove it all. It's not in use anymore. As long as you pull the fuse for the A/S so the light doesn't blink on the dash. I just removed my air shocks a few weeks ago and put on the conversion shock/springs. I hate them. The front is fine but the rear sits way too low. I have one bad shock I need to remove and send back but that's not the problem with the other side. It seems like they should have 2 more coils on them to get it to original height. Sometimes I even think about putting air shocks back in.
Thanks Dean. I just wasn't sure if the air suspension was tide into anything else.
I love my coilovers, not that I drove the car with the air struts. Makes it nice to be able to "fine tune" to the height that you like. Before I raised it for the winter months, I was just tucking the treads of the tires. I like lowered cars though!
Now another question, would anybody have a diagram of the air suspension setup and all of its components?

A proper working air suspension was the best Lexus made. I really like it. More comfort and sport with the flip of a button. Fantastic on the 430.
What springs / struts did you buy dean? Should do kyb or bilstien struts and oem springs. Or coilover. Imo they have half the longevity of a oem setup.

I agree about the air suspension being good, I loved it, till I had a problem. I had 1 front and 1 rear blow 50 miles apart, right at 150K.
Uggghhh. Your part selection.
You are spending more money in the long run. Kyb by far is the best choice for the money. Their not that expensive. Monroe also. Why are buying this horrible no name eBay.

) so I had to pick up the "cheapest" I could find. When I go back to work next month I'll be able to afford the better ones in the first week. I'm paying double the amount in the long run but needed something, anything, in the short run.
It sucks but had to be done. That's life.
Just got to search. Rockauto and google shopping will pretty much lead you to the best prices. Buying the cheaper crap and having to do it twice cost more money. I understand your scenario but trust me, when it comes to struts don't buy junk. Monroe or KYB. Bilstien if you can afford it. OEM spring from a junk yard or via this forum. No reason to buy new.

Well, enough about me and my junk shocks/springs. Let's get back on topic here.
All the components can be removed and you can sell alot of them on ebay, or wherever.
