Default Translation Help Please.

I am slowing sorting out the various issues with my recently purchased C-F Celsior but need a little help if anyone can translate the information on the screen.
One picture shows a message when the CD button is pressed, I do have a problem with the changer but would like to know what the message says.
The other picture shows the Sat Nav screen again with the message in Japanese.
I have PMd Jamae regarding this but am unable to attach the pictures.
Sorry about the quality, not easy to photograph an LCD screen and yes the screen does have problems of its own with lines on it.

on ALL of the cars I owned in Japan I would just install an American spec cd player. It makes life easier.

The top message of the 1st photo: There is no magazine.
2nd photo: The route to the destination will be displayed. You will be guided by the voice and the map if this route is accepted.

Last edited by Yamae; Aug 14, 2013 at 06:28 PM. Reason: Correction "rout" -> "route"

I am limited understanding Spanish and English. I actually made a mistake spelling "route".

Actually, your English is better than several native-born American posters here on Club Lexus!

Yamae - is there any way he can change the output language on the CD and Nav system to English on his Celsior?

In my past experience in Japan language settings are VERY limited in electronics. Yamae would probably know better than me though. One of the frustrating parts about living in Japan.

I had a nav system in my old Honda Legend. I had a similar problem. Had zero language settings.

Just replacing the ROM would be OK but there is no way to purchase only the ROM. If I were you, I would analyze the ROM and modify it. I am mostly OK to do that kind of job which is related to electronics but languages are not very easy to handle since there are many idioms that are not logical enough.

Once there was a guy who used to drive a USM LS400 Gen1 in Japan. He bought the map CD-ROMs for a JDM and he was able to use the navi in Japan.

Regarding the audio CD-ROM, most of indications / icons at the LCD panel are understandable or in English like Dolby B, Dolby C, "RPT"=repeat, Skip, "APS"=Auto ProgramS and you can use the unit without a big problem except those warning messages.
