I have seen mechanics who tried to replace capacitors after I have explained them how to do the job.

I have needed my extra time to support them fixing their poor jobs such as cold soldering joints, reversed mountings and damages of traces. May be my explanation was not good enough

What I finally needed to say was, "I will do it for you and you just fix mechanical problems."
