Default Double Din Question

Yes I searched.....

Was ready to purchase this Double din from sonicelectronix.com and it asked about vehicle compatability, told them I had a 94 LS 400 and it said it wouldnt fit. I have seen plenty of double din's in ls400's. My question is: does anyone know the max dimensions for a double din in a 94 ls400? I am wanting a 7" monitor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also has anyone used the double din dash kits on ebay? They are only like 12 bux.
Thanks

Im a little confused on this whole metra / beatsonic thing. I just ordered a pioneer avic z120bt and not sure which one to order. From what I read it says that if i want to keep my factory amp / sub I should use the beatsonic, but if I change those 2 out it will allow me to use the metra kit. Which by the way is way way cheaper than the beatsonic. Is this true?

Because I'm planning on changing the sub/amp anyways

beatsonic looks way way better than Metra.

the BeatSonic Harness allows you to keep oem sub+amp.

cheap way out is metra faceplate+ non-oem amp+sub

Cheap way is also the better way if want better audio. Most OEM looking option is the beatsonic kit and just use the faceplate.

k, so no fitment issues I need to worry about? I will go ahead and order it then. Also my rear speakers just quit working im hoping a new deck will fix this. The sub still works just no speakers in the rear.

your factory sub will not work anymore unless you buy the beatsonic adapter (and even then only if you have the pioneer, no go for nakamichi).

the beatsonic dash kit looks 1000x better than the ebay, but they both work. i realize both pics aren't double din but the cheaper kits are all of similar quality.

you can buy the beatsonic dash kit w/o the adapter if you plan on running aftermarket amps/speakers.
